Children's Ministry Leader

Begin: August 2024
Estimated Time Commitment Range: 6-10 hours per week
We are seeking a part-time Children’s Ministry Leader for Living Grace Ministry whose roles and responsibilities may include but not be limited to the following expectations:
  • Embody core values of LGM; serve as a spiritual leader and role model and foster a Godly environment among the children (and parents)
  • Facilitate Sunday Children's Ministry operations including preparing weekly lesson, corresponding craft and possibly praise
  • Assume responsibility of Children's related items for special occasions (e.g. Christmas Service, Easter service)
  • Manage communication with parents for any pertinent information (special praise etc…)
  • Recruit new volunteers where needed
  • Exercise discernment when utilizing Children's Ministry budget
  • Work alongside other church leaders, including direct supervision from the lead pastor, and participation in regular church council (core council) meetings
Ideal applicants would possess these qualities/qualifications:
  • Ability to clearly teach to children ranging in ages from 3 years to 5th grade
  • Strong communicative, administrative, and interpersonal skills
  • A vibrant and demonstrable personal faith, relationship, and commitment to Christ

Worship Leader

Estimated Time Commitment Range: 6-12 hours per week
We are seeking a part-time worship leader for Living Grace Ministry whose roles and responsibilities may include but not be limited to the following expectations:
  • Embody core values of LGM; serve as a spiritual leader and role model and foster a Godly environment within the praise team
  • Facilitate Sunday Service Worship operations including organizing rosters, setlists, practices, rides, etc.
  • Assume responsibility of praise-related items for special occasions (e.g. Good Friday service, church retreats)
  • Manage praise team Messenger group chat, email account, WorshipTools account
  • Recruit new members to praise team
  • Exercise discernment when utilizing praise team budget
  • Work alongside other church leaders, including direct supervision from the lead pastor, and participation in regular church council (core council) meetings
  • Supervise and work alongside the media team
Ideal applicants would possess these qualities/qualifications:
  • Ability to operate sound system (e.g. front-to-back setup, equipment usage, basic instrument mixing)
  • Sufficient experience directing and/or leading congregational praise music
  • Strong communicative, administrative, and interpersonal skills
  • A vibrant and demonstrable personal faith, relationship, and commitment to Christ

Youth Pastor / Youth Director

Estimated Time Commitment Range: 4-8 hours per week, with the exception of special events (overnights etc.)
We are seeking a part-time youth pastor / youth director for Living Grace Ministry whose roles and responsibilities may include but not be limited to the following expectations:
  • Embody core values of LGM; serve as a spiritual leader and role model and create a safe spiritual environment for youth to explore faith, spiritual formation and Christian community
  • Facilitate weekly youth ministry gatherings and special fellowship events (approximately once a month)
  • Assume responsibility for special activities, such as joint church retreats, holiday events, and the like, and serve as the point of contact and representative for the youth ministry for such events
  • Provide communication for the youth ministry through electronic communication such as email, text, social media channels, etc.
  • Recruit, organize, train, and supervise adult volunteers who wish to serve the youth ministry
  • Exercise discernment in using church funds for youth events and activities
  • Work alongside other church leaders, including direct supervision from the lead pastor, and participation in regular church council (core council) meetings
Ideal applicants would possess these qualities/qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent. Formal seminary education is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to communicate with and relate to youth, grades 6-12
  • Previous experience working with children/youth
  • Knowledge of the Bible and Christian tradition and the ability to teach youth in an age appropriate and relatable manner
  • Strong communicative, administrative, and interpersonal skills
  • A vibrant and demonstrable personal faith, relationship, and commitment to Christ
